A Welcome Message from Pastor Ferrell

Welcome to the New Bethel A.M.E. Church website. I am glad you have chosen to spend a few moments looking around, discovering our church family. As I describe “NBC” to people, I use words like “Family, Unity, and Community”.

We are a group of people committed to following Jesus.  Our vision, “The New Bethel Family will give and grow as we glorify God through prayer and worship.”  Our mission is to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ through, welcoming the lost, showing Christ to everyone through word and deed, developing disciples with patience and love, providing for the community through outreach, teaching the word of God to all, and studying to show thyself approved as we build the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.  We encourage studying the word of God, daily meditation, and a strong prayer life.

Our hope is that all people will feel loved and welcomed at New Bethel. And once here, we pray that people will meet God and as a result of meeting God, give their lives to Jesus Christ. We want that for you. Come as you are. Check us out, but more importantly, seek the truth of God that can only be known when one knows Jesus.

While browsing our website, you will learn about our ministries and get a glimpse of who we are, but only a glimpse. To fully understand us, come to a worship service or to a small group and feel the up-close, in-person fellowship that comes when people share time together with the Holy Spirit present.
